Our Poultry
At Till Hill Farm, we focus on providing top quality poultry products to our local community. Unlike commercial operations, we utilize sustainable agricultural and animal husbandry practices to raise our pasture-raised chicken and free-range turkey. We take pride in the health of our flock and quality of our poultry products. Consequently, we raise several breeds to accommodate our customer's preferences for meat characteristics and bird size.
Broiler Chicken
Pasture-raised broiler chicken offers superior flavor and texture when compared to anything found at the chain grocery store. Regarded for their white meat ratio, our broilers average 5.5 lbs. per whole bird and are available as wholes and halves.
Our pastured broilers are raised in mobile, open-bottom coops on our expansive pasture. Under these conditions, they consume a diverse diet as they are allowed to forage for vegetation and insects; resulting in deeper flavor and coloration.

Heritage Chicken
For those seeking superior meat flavor and texture, consider our heritage-cross chicken. Average weight per whole bird is 4 lbs., available as wholes and halves.
Our pasture-raised heritage-cross breeds focus on meat quality over quantity. Such breeds exhibit a smaller frame and greater foraging instincts, resulting in a complex diet and subsequent flavor. The result is a slightly darker, more flavorful meat and balanced white and dark meat proportions.
Turkey
We offer whole, free-range turkeys throughout the year. Turkeys can be purchased fresh (never frozen) or frozen, depending on the season. Average weight is 15 lbs.
Once old enough to move to pasture, our turkeys are allowed to free range and forage for vegetation and insects, improving their flavor and further fertilizing our soil. We raise both white and bronze broad-breasted turkeys, which yield an ideal balance of flavorful white and dark meat.
